Trygve Seim Ensemble

The Trygve Seim Ensemble features a unique instrumentation, and its members are outstanding ensemble musicians as well as brilliant soloists.

This year, the ensemble celebrates the 25th anniversary of its debut album Different Rivers (2000), which also marked Trygve Seim’s ECM debut.

At the concert in Kabuso, the ensemble will perform highlights from this album and from their second ECM release, Sangam.
In addition, the program includes music from the commissioned work Reis (Vossajazz 2006), as well as newer compositions that Seim has written for the ensemble in recent years.
