Through video, textiles, and painting, the artists reflect on how water behaves and captures the shifting qualities of light.

A shared feature among the artists in the exhibition is their interest in the reflections on the water’s surface:
Kari Dyrdal’s tapestries are carefully planned depictions of the swirling nanoseconds of water, translated into motifs in warp and weft – a visual balancing act made possible by the jacquard technique.
Jeremy Welsh observes water in its various forms—such as mist, rain, fjord, glacier, and snow—and how it flows through the camera lens and the electronic signals of the video screen.
Jon Arne Mogstad has a deep engagement with how hand and eye are able to fix these rapid shifts onto the canvas using pigment and oil.
